*Picks Up A Microphone* test 1 2 3

Your management and upper management may not like this part, and I won’t apologize for this.

I talk a lot about your potential, your goals, your dreams, that you need to work toward them all, focus on them daily, but here’s the kicker…None of this is truly about your company or the products you have.

At it’s core this is simply about you. It’s about your goals, your potential, and your future.

Goals: I’m really talking about the goals in your life, not the products you sell. Where do you want to be in life? What do you want to do? What are your goals this week? What are your goals for this month? Or this year? Goals will constantly change as you are working toward them.

Potential: Your potential doesn’t have anything to really do about how many sales you have. Your potential is far greater than that. I’m figuring this out every day. I know everyone has SO MUCH potential. It’s just a matter of understanding that, and starting somewhere. Take action. When you do, do not let up or quit until you reach your full potential. Which I will tell you, you will never reach your full potential. Your potential is infinite! The human race saw the great potential it had to go to the moon. We went there! A huge accomplishment! Did we stop there? No! We’ll be going to Mars in the near future. The universe is infinite. As soon as we think the Hubble telescope has reached it’s full potential and we’ve seen everything we can see, we reposition it and find that there are trillions are more galaxies out there.

Endless potential, that’s what you have

Future/Dreams: What’s your mission and purpose in life? Ponder that, write it out, get very specific with it.

Dropping some hard truth

It does not matter if you work at Wal Mart, JB Hunt, Tesla, Space X, Apple, Google, or even work for yourself, you will not be successful in that job or life if you do not put in 110% where you’re at.

If you’re not willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to be successful in the current position you in, why would you do that anywhere else? Changing jobs is not going to make some magic happen. If you’re a lazy quitter here, you’ll be a lazy quitter elsewhere.

So you got a college degree. GREAT! You have a fancy piece of paper and a lot of debt! None of that really matters in the real world. You still have to put forth immense amounts of effort and action to be successful.

There are a lot of you who really are putting in the effort to work toward their potential, and that’s awesome! It motivates me because that is the type of environment I thrive in. Having people with the same mindset, working hard, putting in the effort, taking action, constantly learning. That’s the kind of team I like to have surrounding me in my life. I learn from you, you learn from me, we encourage each other to do more today than we did yesterday.

The truth is, I can give you all the motivational quotes I come up with, or share those from others that motivate me, I can do that all day long. None of that is really going to do anything for you if you do not take actions. If you’re not willing to take actions on one small goal, then you’re cheating yourself out of accomplishing other goals. Bigger goals. The only way you can fail is to quit. When you quit on yourself, that’s when you’re a failure. It doesn’t have to be that way.

It’s your responsibility, you cannot blame anyone for any outcomes in your life.
