Kevin Harrington talked about “Filling the Void” at the #10xGrowthCon. In the 80’s television at night would have dead air, because the tv station closed. So from about 9pm-5am there was this void in tv space. Kevin saw this as an opportunity. Rather than just play the regular game of advertising, newspapers-daytime tv ads, he sought to Change the Game. He rented out the time slot, and from this came the birth of the infomercial.
Find problems, or voids, and solve them. That’s what businesses do, that’s what entrepreneurs do.
